This pivotal gathering centers on “Building Sustainable Economies: Nexus Between Circular Economy and Nature-Based Solutions in North America.” This isn’t just another conference but a crucial moment for shaping global environmental policy and resilience. The session comes when the people of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and beyond face compounding environmental threats: extreme weather, pollution spikes, and rapid biodiversity loss. As CEC Executive Director Jorge Daniel Taillant underscores, “the decisions made now will determine the livability of our planet for generations.” The forum convenes an unprecedented alliance of Indigenous leaders, sustainability experts, youth advocates, business innovators, and community stakeholders. Together, they will chart a path for bold climate action rooted in circular economies, regenerative practices, and nature-based solutions.
